Wii U Gets Exclusive Content for Deus Ex Human Revolution

Square Enix's Deus Ex: Human Revolution was a sleeper hit in 2011 that many video game critics praised. The game offered many unique things that FPS games this gen haven't offered. This is a really good game for the Wii U to add to strengthen their catalogue for quality FPS games. This game offers a unique experience by adding RPG elements to FPS, and the game is very challenging, but worth it.

The Wii U version that is dubbed Dues Ex: Human Revolution The Ultimate Edition. The Wii U gets exclusive content that is not available to Xbox 360, PS3, and PC gamers. The Wii U version of the game gets improved boss battles, and 8 hours developer commentary. Developer commentary hasn't really been a feature that has been featured in many video games, so I am excited to try it out. There is also a feature to add images and audio into the Miiverse for friends to find. That is a neat feature because it gets you and your friends more involved in the game, and be more indulged in the universe.

Release Date is still to be announced, but we will probably get more details in the coming months or near E3 time.

Halo 4 "Forge Island" Map is available now for Free

Map was originally slated to be released April 11, 2013, but 343 Industries has pushed the release date of the map to March 29, 2013. You can download the map now on Xbox live, and through Halo Waypoint
Map might look band, but creativity for this map is endless
Forge Island is a great map for players that like to fool around forge mode. This map is an ideal map for players that like to create stuff on Forge. Users in past Halo have created some amazing maps in forge mode, so me personally can't wait to see user driven content being pumped out of this map

Call of Duty Black Ops 2 adding microtransaction to PS3 and PC

Microtransactions isn't a new thing for Black Ops because it has been previously released on the Xbox 360 beforehand. Black Ops 2 players were able to purcahse in game perks like extra slots to create more classes, and more space to upload images and videos to their channels. The price for adding these perks to your game were 160 Microsoft points ($2 US Dollars)
Micro time

These types of microtransactions are about to be released on the PS3 and PC versions of Black Ops 2. This will all be released for the PS3 and the PC version of Black Ops 2 on April 12, 2013. Also gamers on these platforms will be able to download Nuketown 2025 for free on April 12.

I know many gamers do not like the thought of microtransactions being involved in their games. In this case I don't mind because it doesn't provide players with unfair competitive advantage. Games that have these transactions that creates a pay to win incentive for gamers to go through microtransactions. Its great that this is only cosmetic bonuses because these are stuff I am sure Black Ops 2 gamers are willing to purchase. Many do complain that they need more class slots, and space to upload videos and images to their channel. In the future I hope Activision doesn't push gamers to go through microtransactions to obtain more class slots   when the game launches. I hope they continue to go with this route that allows gamers to obtain these class slots through their prestige system. Rather than having players pay for class slots, and give players the options to obtain classes if they want to pay for it

Battlefield 3 "Endgame" DLC launches today

Battlefield 3: End Game delivers some of the most high-speed warfare to date across four vast maps. Race through enemy lines using the new dirt bike, bringing speed and agility to the Battlefield, or fight back aerial assaults with new lightweight AA vehicles. Coordinate lightning fast attacks and defenses in the return of the classic Capture The Flag game mode. In the skies, the new dropship introduces the ability to turn the tide with rapid deployment air drops of troop transports

Source Major Nelson

This map pack looks really great, and it looks like its bringing back Battlefield back to its roots. I really like how they are bringing back capture the flag game type because I feel that game type brings in very competitive matches to FPS games. The maps looks like they can create a lot of havoc and destruction  which Battlefield fans crave. This is a great map pack to end the good maps Dice has pumped out of this game. Right now all eyes are on Battlefield 4, so it was great for Dice to release this map pack for Battlefield 3 fans.

Map pack cost 1200 Microsoft points, $15 on PSN and PC
Map looks great, that is a great picture to paint in gamers' mind

The official reveal trailer for battlefield 4 has been released. We can already see this game is going to have high octane action. Its amazing the graphics that are being displayed in this game. It looks like some PC gamers might have to upgrade their rigs to experience this game at its finest. The terrain and physics look much improved than Battlefield 3's physics and terrain. One last thing there is so much action going on in the screen right now, this trailer is for sure being showcased on the PC.

Call of Duty Black Ops: MLG Dallas Grand Final- Fairko vs Unite

Last week there was a very competitive call of duty black ops event hosed by MLG (Major League Gaming). Many teams came to this event, but the two teams in the final scrapped their way to the grandest stage of them all in Call of Duty Black Ops 2.

The match up is between Fairko vs Unite. These two teams are very popular in the Call of Duty pro circuit, so it was only fitting these two teams faced each other in the finals

Below is a video link of my favorite round in this match up. I believe round 5 was the funnest round to watch between these two teams

Also here is the final round in that battle
Winner of the event: Fairko Impact they showed the pro gaming community that they are the must beat team in Call of Duty Black Ops 2. This team's teamwork is just uncanny, and they are very skilled. It looks like they will be owning the MLG circuit for months to come. Being on the top means that many teams will be gunning for them, so they will have to make sure they are on their "A" game.
Fariko Impact Owned MLG Dallas this weekend proving they are an elite team in Call of Duty

Are the Halo 4 Map Packs worth it?

Halo series has been known for its mulitplayer, and very well known for iconic maps in their games. Many Halo fans have been complaining about the map structures in their last 2 installments because they can't match up to the quality of Halo 2 and 3 maps.

With the launch of Halo 4 many feel that maps haven't lived up to the expectations of the Halo series. I feel that the maps are good and not great. The large maps in the game are great, but the quality drops when you play on medium to small size maps

Halo 4 Map "Wreckage" landscape looks elegant
343 Industries started their "War Games Pass", which means users that pay for a pass get access to these maps when they launch. It is bundled cheaper to get these maps rather than buying for each map pack individually. So far they have released the Crimson Map Pack
I feel that this map pack is not worth the admission because the maps don't really solve the problem of quality small and medium combat maps. It is not worth 800 Microsoft points, but I will still grab the map packs when they go on sale

343 Industries just released the "Majestic" map pack. This map pack is a much more improved map pack compared to the Crimson map pack. The maps are well designed and they create for great multiplayer moments

Monolith has that crystal blue persuasion because I am hooked on this map
The majestic map pack is beautiful it is worth the 800 Microsoft points, but I still advise you to buy the Halo 4 War games pass. Reason why is you will get all the Halo map packs at a bundled price, and that can help users save money

There are other planned map packs coming out for Halo 4 so it will be smart to buy the War games pass. Just to have access on all of those maps, and increase your chances of playing these maps through matchmaking.

Here is a brief look at the Halo 4 "Castle" map pack that comes out on April 8, 2013

Right now some classic Halo maps have appeared in this game. Classic maps like Lockout has appeared through matchmaking by users recreating the map for users to play. They have also released griftabll maps in the game. At the moment Halo 4 mulitplayer has improved, and its a game many Halo fans to get back into. I feel that 343 has improved the mistakes they had at launch of the game

The Call is MY Duty

Ahh Modern Warfare 3… It’s not a game for the weak ladies and gentlemen. It’s full of blood and guts! Haha I lied there’s no guts but there is blood… blood splats. Do you know how it feels to try and run up on someone of the opposing team to shank them and you get shot in the head!? Not nice my friend… not nice at all OR to be kill by grenade from some chump that is two stories high in a beat up building? But nothing and I mean NOTHING is worse than those immensely annoying twelve year old kids talking trash because they got one kill oh how they burn my soul.

Space Warfare; Killzone

While some games tend to concentrate on historical event to base their games on such as the previous Call of Duty franchise, ultimately you run out of wars to interpret.
Killzone has none of that. The imagination of the crew have permitted them to come up with a whole new realm; a futuristic world with extraterrestrial beings.
Killzone has become a First Person Shooter that would come up on any gamer’s list of the best games. It often was depicted as being better than the other games because of the realism of the gameplay. From the way the personas run to holding their weapons for aiming; the developers have thought of everything.
Based in an era of Space colonization, the Helghast versus the Interplanetary Strategic Alliance features epic battles that I have had the opportunity to play. Tune in for a gameplay review.
